Job Summary:
The office manager will be responsible for gathering and inputting information into the Aging & Disability database to generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports regarding center participation as required by the Division of Aging.
Creating a monthly newsletter, attending board meetings, and preparing the minutes, maintaining, and updating the center website and mailing database, updating the digital marquees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete, prepare, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and yearly Aging & Disability reports.
Maintain patron records, documentation, and files.
Create and mail monthly newsletter, update and maintain website, digital marquees, and mailing database.
Maintain Senior Space Kiosk with patron information and become knowledgeable of system.
Attend monthly Board of Director's meetings, prepare minutes, and submit them to the Executive director for review and approval by the Board of Directors.
Witness the counting of money and preparing of deposits by receptionist.
Assist community patrons with scheduling facility rentals.
Greet patrons, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person's visit and direct or assist them as needed.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff; take messages and schedule appointments.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of progressively responsible clerical experience preferred.
