The Banquet Manager is responsible for the setup, execution, billing, and cleanup of all banquet functions, in addition to meeting with the Group Client Contact prior to, and at the conclusion of, all functions.
This position oversees all banquet events and ensures prompt accurate service with anticipation of and compliance with all guests’ needs, and additionally performs other management functions.

00 Skill Level: Entry Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) for setup and staff needs for all Banquet events.
Attend all meetings including all Group Review Meetings, Pre Conference Meetings (“Pre-Cons”) and F&B Meetings.
Train all Banquet staff in accordance to ISO 9001 Training Manuals and JLL Quality Standards.
Responsible for the cleanliness of all banquet meeting rooms, hallways, banquet pantry and all banquet storage areas.
Schedule staff and ensure adequate staffing levels for all functions, while adhering to budgeted guidelines.
Manage the set up of all banquet rooms that including tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, linen, skirting, china, glassware, silverware and all miscellaneous equipment.
Responsible for the billing of all food, beverage and miscellaneous charges incurred for all banquet events.
Must obtain signatures on all banquet checks.
Complete employee payroll time sheets on a daily basis, and complete a daily labor analysis compared to budget, and turn in to Food & Beverage Director daily.
Complete all banquet gratuity sheets and turn in to the F&B Director daily.
Responsible for requisitioning needed food, beverage and non-food supplies from the storeroom.
The “must haves” for this position include: Previous banquets/conventions experience Previous audio-visual experience Experience with a Point of Sale system Excellent people skills Excellent communication skills Able to work long hours and variable shifts Must be extremely organized Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds TIPS certified We prefer that you have the following skills/experience, although it is not required: Previous audio-visual experience Banquets supervisory experience Previous Food and Beverage supervisory experience What’s In It For You?
