What You’ll Work On The Micrometeorology Product Manager is responsible for capturing market requirements, defining product requirements, and packaging the features into product releases for the micrometeorology group.
This position involves close interaction with development leads, product architects, and key customers to build the best products.
A strong technical background and strong communication skills are required.
Job duties include gathering requirements from existing and potential micrometeorology customers, writing market requirements documents, monitoring the implementation of each product project, and working with marketing communications to take product messages to market.
You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks Actively participate in Voice of Customer research to capture and validate key challenges in the market.
Develop and monitor product launch plans.
Manage product life cycle.
Manage and report on product return map.
Establish product pricing in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Conduct win/loss analysis.
Analyze the competitive landscape.
Maintain the product portfolio roadmap with close coordination with the cross-functional micromet team.
Write product requirements and use scenarios.
Develop positioning and other planning documents.
What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or engineering.
Master’s degree in business administration, preferred.
5+ years in product management.
Use of qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and help make product decisions.
Solid working ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
), MS Project and other basic office productivity applications.
Customer focused and desire to learn customer applications and technologies.
Understanding of and implementation experience with product management principles.
Strong interpersonal skills: writing, oral, team-building, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage relationships, deliverables, and expectations cross-functionally.
Master’s degree in business administration, preferred.
Product management experience in environmental monitoring instrumentation, preferred.

Work Environment General office environment.
Domestic and international travel up to 20 - 25% on customer visits or trade shows.
